Poems as Prompts Writing Workshop - By Poetica ($18)
Join Poetica's Miriam Hechtman for a poetry workshop that uses poems as prompts.
Miriam will bring a selection of poems to this session. She will read a poem aloud and then participants choose a 'golden line' or theme or form from the poem to prompt them to write their own poem. Then there is quiet writing time. Then a chance to share your poem. Then on to the next poem. And repeat.
Jack McLain pop up Photoshoot
Jack McLain is a local photographer and artist currently working on a project in collaboration with Randwick Council which will be part of the Town Hall Takeover series of artists from August 18-25. Jack is making portraits with people on instant film to explore the question “What transforms this place where we live from a point on a map into a community?”
He’s gathering both the words and images of local people to be part of the exhibition. If you’d like to be part of this exhibition and share your experience, he’ll be setting up a pop up at Clovelly & Co on the 5th of April in the morning to make your portrait. Jack makes two portraits, one for you and one for his exhibition, and you get to choose which one is for you and which one is for the wall.
So come in for a free portrait and share your experience of the Randwick LGA on April 5 between 8am and midday.

It’s school holidays so Clovelly & Co are hosting our first family games night with games to play, snacks to eat, and great people from the neighbourhood to meet. There'll be music playing and you're welcome to bring your own games and dinner too!

To celebrate our Autumn Pilot Programme, we’re opening the doors for a community social evening. Bring your neighbours, bring your kids, and–if you’re inclined–something to drink. We’ll have music and light refreshments.
Sam Joole - Live & Acoustic ($30)
We are thrilled to welcome singer-songwriter and all round music man Sam Joole for a night in acoustic mode. This will be an evening of original songs for voice, guitar, piano and ambient sound loops. It will also include imagery, projections and video collage.

Join us for an Art Therapy workshop focused on creativity, connection and curiosity at Clovelly Co.
Led by Emma Fitzgerald, a trauma-informed and DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy)–informed Art Therapist, the session provides a supportive, non-judgmental space for creative exploration and relaxation. Emma is passionate about supporting the local community and creating accessible mental health services through creative experiences.
